Even though I do my own rankings, I like to look at others, which sometimes causes me to adjust mine (or at least to see where guys might be picked in a draft). I also prefer to see rankings down overall across all positions in both leagues, rather than just within positions or within one league. The link here provides one I found. He's got some funky rankings, though!
Orlando Cabrera 15th overall? The guy is one of my keepers, but he's not that good!
Yes doctor, I am sick. Sick of those who are spineless. Sick of those who feel self-entitled. Sick of those who are hypocrites. Yes doctor, an army is forming. Yes doctor, there will be a war. Yes doctor, there will be blood.....
Has anyone seen projections that were worth the paper they wer written on. All guess work. Show me the guy that predicted Burrell and Dunn doing Mendoza line dances before the start of 2003...then you have someone with a great Magic 8-ball.

The only projections people don't laugh at are their own, and since most people don't do their own projections that means they laugh at them all.
Experience tells me that those who are laughed at the least are the most worthless because alls they do is mimic last season's statistics, and it is obvious that that is what most of you people want. The projections who are most laughed at are probably the best because they understand the realities of players' statistics; which is there are no constants but change from year to year.
Most people are just looking for confirmation for their own beliefs anyway, and if they read something that goes against it they mock it. I wish I could have a buck for every time someone picks Nomar/Sosa/Blalock 1-2-3 in a draft because I'd be a very rich man.
