There's no way he comes close to either 190 Ks or an ERA around 2.20. He's never had 190 in any season in his career and he's only on pace for 174 right now.

I say the 17 wins are likely attainable, but we all know that stat is dependant on team performance.

I think he will finish with 160K's and an era around 3.10...great, but not 2.20 great. Any pitcher not named Santana or Peavy will not be able to sustain that kind of ERA.

I'm in a 12-team keeper league where we keep 14. I let him go, but I wish I had him right now (even though my pitching isn't bad). It would certainly be nice to have him rather than Zumaya. I admit it, I thought he was done.

I'd be inclined to sell high on him as well, but make sure you find a good deal.

The positive signs were there for all to see towards the end of last season, when he was finally healthy. He was certainly a guy who I targeted coming into the season and I'm reaping the benefits.

I don't think he goes close to 190 k's but I do think he can sustain an ERA right around the 3.00 level. As for wins, well he's the most successful active pitcher in win / loss ratio. He's so competitive, has a decent offense behind him (if C.Jones stays healthy) and an excellent bullpen. 20 wins is very possible.

He is 5-1 with a 1.77 ERA he has 43 K's and 13 BB WHIP is 0.92


He is pitching 7-8 innings in every game except for 1. His stuff is looking good and he doesn't seem to be struggling that much. I think it's safe to say he is back and can easily win 17 games with 190 K's and a ERA around 2.20


Any more thoughts?

Sorry there was a mess up on the 2.20 I meant 3.20, the other numbers I think he can do, while the 12 K's was a career high, I see him being able to K more than in years past.
