Check the career stats. Consistent as hell. Thats why I have always liked him.

Funny how he can ALWAYS be counted on AT LEAST a .300 avg when he did it for the first time last year. A great fantasy player regardless

This is only the second season I've had him on the roster. The other year, 2004, he stunk up the joint for the first two or three months. Checking the stats now -- yeah, he stole half his bases for the year in one month (August). He almost made my "never again" list. So this slow start hasn't exactly endeared me to the guy. Hopefully he'll make me feel guilty for my doubts the rest of the year.

He'll have to steal a few more bases, though, before I feel too guilty.

I agree with the others. He's not heating up. He's an inferno right now.

I guess I have the Blue Jays' inept management to thank for Furcal being in my lineup last week and this week. When they moved Aaron Hill around, he stopped hitting, so I put Furcal back in my weekly lineup. All he did was single-handedly win last week for me (I won by 13 points, which was his point production on Sunday), and now he's tearing it up in my lineup this week, too.
