Is Garret Atkins even considered a buy low at this point? I have him on my team, and he is ABSOLUTELY KILLING ME. Do any of you think that he has reached the point where people won't even trade for him period?
I've offered him with a few different trades and I'm not getting any bites. He's even listed in the "buzz index" on yahoo for 3B as being dropped. I wouldn't drop him, but man I'm not so sure he's going to turn it around.
That's why I'm wondering if he'd even be considered a buy low... I don't think anyone will buy him.

Don't drop Atkins...just don't expect 30+ HRs and 120 RBIs this year...not even close....he's still going to be a serviceable 3B though...

I'm not suggesting that anyone drop him. I was just wondering if there was a point where he can't even be considered a buy low candidate... because no one would buy him.

Unless they put Damon on the DL I think I may have to trade him. These nagging injuries need time to heal... not play one day and rest the next

I'm in a pretty deep league in which 3b are hard to come by (my starting 3b is Alex Gordon, to give you an idea of how slim the pickins are) and Edwin Encarnacion is available on the wire right now FOR FREE--so unless it's a keeper or a deep NL-only, it's hard to support an argument for Double-E as a buy-low target, as he's probably widely available and unwanted in virtually every mixed re-draft league at the moment.

Pick a White Sox hitter to buy low right now. Once the weather heats up, US Cellular will turn into a launching pad.
