The guys's been pretty dominant coming out of the Boston bullpen. Anyone else thought about adding him and using him for his good ERA and K ratios?

Well that's just like, your opinion man.

I already picked him up, and it's worked great. Also he's a possiblity to get saves in BOS if Pap were to go down.

I picked him up right after he vultured the save the first night of the first BOS/NYY series. I also figured that he'd be in line for the saves if Johnny Paps goes down (knock on wood that he doesn't).

He should be good this year (unless you're just looking for saves, even then he may be next in line with good stats), what with hitters being unfamiliar with him and everything. He may lose some effectiveness next year, then again Japanese relievers may be adopting better to the their sophomore and third years now (Otsuka, Saito), compared to the likes of Sasaki and Takatsu (then again, they were already old when they debuted).

I was using him to help with my ratios for a while, but was forced to drop him today to make some roster moves.

Keep in mind that if he starts to slip there's a chance that it might be hitters figuring him out or getting used to his delivery. I wouldn't sell now - we're still waiting on this to happen for Saito - but if he does go through a bad spot, I'd be quicker than normal to cut him loose or at least bench him.
And the Bosox are being much more careful with Paps this year but he's still good insurance.
