A friend of mine has asked me to post this for him.

Andrew McCutchen
what is his upside?
When do u expect him up?

And is he that good that u would trade a CFiggins & JMarquis for him in a 20team dynasty league with farm clubs.

Heres my friends team. Hes in 18th place & really isnt going anywhere(Still think he should hold onto those players until closer to trade deadline though - get more. Thou marquis is a sell high now).

He may be worth MArquis alone, but not Figgins alone. And definitely not both of them. Same goes for any other prospect.

I would much rather have Figgins and Marquis. McCutchen has struggled mightily so far this year, and I can't see how the cost would be 2 major league players just for him. :-o

You're "friends" team...... suuurrrreee !+) ;-7

Gotta take the MLB guys over a guy struggling in the lower levels of the minor leagues. Minor leaguers are fun to follow and its awesome if they are in you're "real" teams farm system but they are waaayyyyyy overrated when it comes to fantasy baseball, especially when they are still a couple years away from sniffing the MLB, IMO.

I would trade Marquis and Chone for McCutchen by themselves...together? No. But, Cutch will be fine. He said in an interview today that he started so slow because it was so cold while playing in Ohio and all the eastern states. He said now that it's heating up...he's heating up. He also said that coaches found that he was standing too far away from the plate...pitchers were painting the outside corner with fastballs and he couldn't reach. He's now adjusted to it and he's hitting the ball better now. He is going to be an outstanding fielder, solid hitter with some power, and good base stealer.

I'd hold off on doing that right now. I am pretty big on McCutchen and think he will be very special, so I think he is a great buy low right now.

But I would stay put.
