Hey guys, not terribly familiar with the Orioles system. I wanted to trade Jose Cruz Jr. in my 28 teams dynasty(roster crunch with Jack Cust playing well and Bradley healthy again) and he's the best I can get it seems.

Former 1st round pick, was highly touted last year but completely lost his k/bb and while doing that torn his non throwing hand's labrum, doing better this year but still with 1/4 bb/k rate.

What do you guys think about him?

PWF - don't know a lot about this guy, so I looked up his player card on BP. It doesn't look very flattering. They don't even have his VORP projected as a positive number until 2011. His upside is non-existent, his Stars/Scrubs chart has a lot of the bad colors in it, and his 50th percentile PECOTA forecast looks like .200/.244/.318 for this season. I know it's just a forecast, but if that's the best you can get, you might want to look elsewhere.

well, no, his performance so far wouldn't be a stat head favorite. I picked him mostly because of the mythical "tool" factor. Was looking at backgrounds mostly.

No prob, PWF. I can't say I've ever been in a 28-team league, though, so I don't have any idea of how thin your options are. We've got a bit of a dearth of available FA talent in a 12-team league with 30-man rosters, so I can't imagine what kind of problems you all have.
