Sowers missing start today

It's his day to start, but looks like Byrd is starting. Sowers last pitched 5 days ago, is he moving to the pen? Is Adam Miller possibly getting called up?

This is off of the indians web-site:

"The Indians are reshuffling their rotation coming out of Monday's off-day to keep Sabathia on four days' rest. Jeremy Sowers, who last pitched May 10 in Anaheim, is being bumped to the back of the rotation."

"By reshuffling their rotation because of Monday's off-day, the Indians gave Sowers a few extra days to think about his recent struggles. Sowers has allowed six earned runs in each of his last two starts, working a total of seven innings over the course of those two outings. He has had trouble locating his pitches, and opposing batters have been teeing off on him. Against the Angels on May 9, he gave up the six runs on nine hits with a walk and two strikeouts in five innings."

No on adam miller and no to sowers moving to pen

thanks for the info. Westbrook can come off the DL on the 18th. It might still be possible for Sowers to get moved to either the pen or AAA.

Still, Miller can't be too far off.

it could rain tonight or tomorrow and mess with the rotation even more....

it seems they are just waiting on Jake to come back in order to demote Sowers.... no Miller yet.
