Billingsley a candidate to start

next time the Dodgers need a 5th starter per the LA Times. Might be a nice keeper league, deep mixed league or NL only league pickup if you have the roster flexibility.

I've had him stashed on my Keeper roster all year. He's not being terribly impressive, so I'm tempering my expectations.

I'd like to see him settle down and find that groove. I could certainly use the pitching help.

With Bills, its all about location/control. This kid will be good but he won't be great until he can get that BB/9 under 3.5.......which by the looks of it might be asking too much. He's still very young so there is plenty of time for him to improve.

I'll admit that I haven't been able to actually see him play, but his #'s are actually VERY impressive, particularly in the last week or so.

Last month 17IP 23K, 2.65 ERA and 1.18 WHIP
Last week 4.1IP 8K, 0.00 ERA and 0.23 WHIP 8-o

OK it's the Sesame Street game. Who will Billingsley replace? Hmmm. Here's a hint: there are 4 MLB pitchers in the list and one future bat boy.

Thanks for the heads-up, I just grabbed him from FA. Nice upside here if he can crack the rotation. In the meantime, his SP eligibility means I can leave him in one of my unused SP slots, so I can at least get some value from him.
