Billingsley a candidate to start

I've had him stashed on my Keeper roster all year. He's not being terribly impressive, so I'm tempering my expectations.

I'd like to see him settle down and find that groove. I could certainly use the pitching help.

With Bills, its all about location/control. This kid will be good but he won't be great until he can get that BB/9 under 3.5.......which by the looks of it might be asking too much. He's still very young so there is plenty of time for him to improve.

who is he going to replace in the rotation? i had him last year but it never panned out. hes got much better k/bb ratio this year.

I'll admit that I haven't been able to actually see him play, but his #'s are actually VERY impressive, particularly in the last week or so.

Last month 17IP 23K, 2.65 ERA and 1.18 WHIP
Last week 4.1IP 8K, 0.00 ERA and 0.23 WHIP

Thanks for the heads-up, I just grabbed him from FA. Nice upside here if he can crack the rotation. In the meantime, his SP eligibility means I can leave him in one of my unused SP slots, so I can at least get some value from him.
