As I watch him in the FA pool, I keep telling myself that he's going through peaks and valleys, and he's due for another valley.

(I sure am tempted to drop Lofton or Hamilton :-o or Otsuka :-o and hope for more peaks.)

He was pretty highly touted coming into 07. Here is discussion you might want to check out:

He started off a bit slow as most rookies tend to do. He hurt his hammy and was out for a week but looks like he is starting to make some adjustments. What impressed me most about him was the fact that he cut his K rate as he moved up the ladder in the minors. He looks like he is making the same type of adjustment and starting to hit very well.

I think 20-20 is his upside this year and definitely 15-15 with a decent BA.
