I apologize if this is the wrong forum, but I just signed into one of my yahoo leagues and saw the following recent transactions:

5/14 Brad Penny (LAD - SP) Drop (c2007-05-15) LBC Waivers
5/14 Bobby Jenks (CWS - RP) Drop (c2007-05-15) LBC Waivers
5/14 Jason Giambi (NYY - 1B) Drop (c2007-05-15) LBC Waivers
5/14 Álex Rodríguez (NYY - 3B) Drop (c2007-05-15) LBC Waivers

The problem is that those are my players and I didnt drop them! What does (c2007-05-15) mean? Does that mean the commisioner decided to screw with my roster and drop my players for fun?

I dont know any of the managers in the league but decided to join because it was advertised as a "competetive" league. Has this ever happened to anybody?

I hope this isn't the only league you're in this year.

My advice would be to hang around the cafe for a while and get to know some people. You'll find yourself in more competitive leagues around these parts next year. ;-D

EDIT: And leagues that don't involve cheating. B-)

at first, i thought the commish was trying to do me a favor when i saw giambi was dropped from my team....... then i saw he dropped arod :-P

H2H or Roto league?

You still have a chance if it's a head to head league. You're probably SOL if it's Roto.

I usually am in a couple fantasy leagues with friends, but decided to check out some of the yahoo public/custom leagues this year. i was actually in a fantasy baseball cafe league a couple years back and it was very competetive, but I still managed to finish second. Best of all, the commish didnt drop any of my players either lol.

I guess I'll stick to leagues with my friends and with people on the cafe from now on.

BTW, the commish didnt touch sizemore or abreu. have their stocks dropped that much?? ;-D
