He batted .289 in over 600 ABs as a 21 year old
He batted .280 over 518 ABs as a 22 year old
He batted .302 over 364 ABs as a 24 year old.
He's now 25, and he batted .287 with 4 HRs and 4 SBs in April.
And I supposed to worry about a bad month?
I love the way people overreact over slumps sometimes.

And it's not even a month... more like 2 weeks! So 49 ABs is a more accurate sample size for a career .282 hitter than the other 1,606 ABs?
With all this panicking, sure hope some of you more savvy owners are buying low and making out like bandits!

He's also constantly injured
rump already explained the 3 games he's missed this season, so I'm not sure why risk of injury would enter into the equation right now. Two years where he was dinged up sounds strangely familiar to Jose Reyes' 2004 - 2005 seasons, yet I haven't heard anybody mention him being constantly injured in awhile. Rocco's showing no signs of injury, so it's not really fair to assume he'll be banged up because he was for two seasons, when he's been nothing but healthy thus far in '07.

Wasn't it true that coming out of spring training he injured his hammy again, and made the ominous quote that he didn't know how it was? Then in the first game, he felt a tweak and got pulled? That's what I remember, so that's why I am doubtful. If it isn't so, well then I'm wrong I guess.
