haha, much more of a pride thing than money, but im not going to pretend like i dont spend probably 30mins a day with fantasy related stuff...i dont think this would take quite as much time as you think

This is a really interesting strategy. I'd appreciate it if you came back and told us how this strategy worked out for you... maybe even on a week-to-week basis for the first few weeks. I've never heard of anybody using this strategy before.

However, I think there's something you forogt about this strategy. Your great set-up men are only going to pitch if the game's close, most likely. Honestly, I think you'll end up getting your pitchers in maybe %50 of the time. My guess is that you'll end up getting 80-85 IP per spot as opposed to the 75 you would get keeping one guy with similar stats received.

With no waiver period and unlimited roster moves, it's a good usage of an extra roster spot or two if you've got them. It's not a strategy I would pursue, but if it turns out a good MR is the best usage of that roster spot, then several good MR's are better than one. I don't think you have to worry about heavy competition for these guys. It'll help you a little, but most people are going to find other ways they'd prefer to use those spots.
