It's a close fight for that last spot between Estrada, Pierzynski & Olivo. I'm not all that high on Olivo, but he is younger and has more to prove.

Good read. If those are up to the moment, how is Posada ranked 9th??

Yeah, that's true -- Posada has been killing the ball lately.

Good point. Maybe I should have worded those a little differently. They aren't intended to be Yahoo-style rankings, but more projections for the rest of the year based on what we've seen thus far.

Posada has been hitting well lately, but I expect his 2007 performance will reflect his trend of the last few years. He is still very valuable, but due to his time in the league, we could start seeing a decline and possibly an injury. I expect when all is said and done, we'll see numbers just south of last year, probably around his 2005 numbers, maybe a little lower.
