why shouldn't a [itcher win the MVP? they have a more direct affect over a game then a player that only bats once ever nine times.
Pedro would have (and should have) won it in 1999, if not for some dumb writers who left him off the ballot.

And MAddux should have won in 1995, but finished 3rd behind Barry Larkin and Daunte Bichette
