Yes.

I think Schilling and RJ should have been Co-MVPs of the year because there is NO way the Diamondbacks would have won the 2001 World Series without those 2.

I generally dislike the idea of a player who plays every 5th day being the MVP.

No, if a guy wins 30, Ks 300 with and ERA under 2.00......ok, something like that I can see, but Ecks' MVP was a joke IMO. He was great....but the MVP? Not to me.

Eck in 1992(AL)
Clemens in 1986(AL)
Rollie Fingers in 1981(AL)
Vida Blue in 1971(AL)
and in 1968 2 Pitchers won the MVP, Bob Gibson(NL) and Denny McLain (AL)
