What are the rules for tipped pitches that are caught?

If there are two strikes it is considered a strikeout. If there are less than two it is a strike. To be a pop up out I believe it has to go higher than the batters head or be in play.

Nice response. My first thought was that of a pitcher that was "tipping his pitches" and he was caught to be doing that. O:-)
