Some may remember him from his years as a solid reliever in the majors

Dr. Mike Marshall knows the injurious flaws in the 'traditional' baseball pitching motion that injures baseball pitchers. Dr. Marshall knows what 'traditional' baseball pitchers have to do to eliminate all pitching injuries.


Heard a very interesting interview today with him. Hes very surprised why hes never been hired by a team to be a P-Coach.
He practically guaranteed that any team that hired him would never have pitchers hurt there arms like they do so much today(ie Tommy John surgery). He gave the recent example of BJRyan & how he had talked to JP Riccardi but the Jays GM never got back to him.

There were lines of reasoning why he he hasnt been hired such as most believe he is too into the scientific side of baseball or if hired he may be too controlling, not only wanting to be P-Coach but also trainer.

Very interesting theory he has though. He has stated too he has looked over JZumaya's injury report/video as to how he throws and said he will never be back in 3 months.
