Steady Eddie on Waivers (Yahoo May 14th)

Postby gws226 » Fri May 11, 2007 7:57 am

Everyday Eddie was omitted from the Yahoo database for some reason this year.... They just added him back to the system and he's on waivers.

A nice little sneak grab for those of you looking for an extra closer to stash on the DL.

May 10th, Rotoworld.
Eddie Guardado was pain-free after throwing breaking balls off the mound for the first time since his Tommy John surgery.

Guardado will throw his second batting practice session on Friday. He is on pace for a June return.
If you found my advice helpful, please help me

Weathers is doing ok as a closer. Do you think they will replace him with Fast Eddie when he returns?

Thanks for the info by the way.

I doubt they will tho, until Weathers mess up again, we don't even know how Eddie is right now tho.

I would pass in all leagues/formats (except maybe a 100 team league).

He is terrible.......while in Seattle we did not call him the "closer", we called him the "opener" (clever I know)

besides, weathers is the guy in cincy
