Here's a question for ya.....

My league has one DL spot and I'm wanting to replace BJ Ryan with Phil Hughes since Ryan had TJ surgery. Yahoo won't let me do it because it'd put me over the max roster size. Does anyone know how to pull this off without having to drop a player?

If Hughes is a FA in your league, you will not be able to take Ryan off your DL and add Hughes to your DL unless you drop another player as well.

Yeah, this has always annoyed me about Yahoo. Also, lets say you have a DL spot open and you want to pick up a FA who is also on the DL to put in the spot; you still have to drop one of your players in order to pick up the injured player.

you have to wait until you're going to make another move and then:

drop ryan
drop healthy player
add hughes
DL hughes
add healthy player

the hardest part is 2-3 days from now, remembering that you wanted to do that. !+)

How does that annoy you?? Isn't it consistent with real rules??
