I watch every Texas game due to the fact I have 4 of there players. What I see from Young is just pure bad luck. Any day those balls he is hitting like bullets will start finding holes. Dude is a true stud and will have a .400 month real soon. Trust me when I say any day now you will be extremely happy.

Young's average was as low as .243 in mid-May 2005.

By late June, it was up to .328 and he ended 2005 at .331.

Dude is quality. You gotta ride it out. His numbers for the last month are on the rise:

I'm glad I just traded for him. I had to trade Youkilis to get him, but I think Youk will eventually fade.

This year it's been unseasonably cool in Texas so far and many of the Rangers are expected to come on when it heats up. But most years they blame the mid-late season collapse on it being too hot in Texas. Excuses...

This guy speaks the truth! The term right now is snakebit. But not to worry. Anyone hitting the ball as well as Young is right now has to start getting hits soon.

Young has multi-hit games in 4 of the last 5. He's heating up. .300 here we come!

i lost the link, but some baseball analysis blog pointed out how good his indicator stats with line drives and such were, and how bad his batting average on balls in play and such was.

the first 3 weeks or so of the season he was just slumping, but hes been fine since then and just had bad luck.

and hes on pace for 18 steals, a nice bonus.
