I picked him up in my 16 team league. I am looking for any OF they can semi produce. All I need him to do is get on base, steal, and score some runs. Vlad needs someone to hit in. If he can produce more then Carlos Quentin and Adam Lind, I will be extremely happy.

Another good game tonight for the prototypical Leadoff man:

2-5, 2R, 1RBI, 1SB

I'm hesistant to pick him up because Garret "Rally Killer" is slated to return by the end of the month and we all know Mikey only plays his favourites.....and GA is making 11 million or something. Sigh.

Willits is going to stay in the lineup even when GA comes back. If Anderson must play, perhaps it will be to DH for some games. Willits is a spark plug at the top of that lineup and Scioscia knows they would be sacrificing some offense taking him out of the leadoff spot.

It might be a situation similar to Ryan Theriot's where there is an odd day off here and there, but he is mostly a full time player. If you are carrying 4 OFs, a guy who plays 5 games out of 6 can still be hugely valuable.

On the other hand, if he stops hitting, and falls back to a 3-4 starts per week role, he should probably be dropped.

On the whole, if you need SBs, he's a must add right now at any rate.

Does anyone have any insight or quotes that suggest that he will stay in the lineup after GA returns?

There is no doubt in my mind that he will still be in the lineup when GA returns. None whatsoever. Unless he hits a brick wall of course between now and then.

The angels are gonna have a lot of speed. Wilitis, Figgins, and Kendrick when he comes back. Where does everyone see Kendrick batting once he and GA comes back?

2-4. 2 Rs, 2 RBIs and a SB tonight. This guy is a top 100 fantasy player this year. I virtually guarantee it.*

Same here, I plugged him into my starting roster and havent looked back. Hopefully he stays hot and stays at the leadoff spot.
