I was trying hard to buy low on this guy and the owner just wouldn't budge claiming "I believe in him." I must say, I'm enjoying his meltdown thus far this season :-)

Just read this stat..Amazing..

Carlos Zambrano gave up three more first-inning runs on his way to a loss to the Pirates on Thursday, He allowed six runs -- four earned -- in six innings before being removed.

Zambrano opened the game with a HBP, back-to-back doubles, a single and a sac fly, putting three runs on the board right away. He's now allowed 13 earned runs in the first innings of his eight starts this year. He has a 3.29 ERA the rest of the time, but he needs to get over whatever is causing his early-game troubles.

A while ago when Glavine was apart of the trio of terror the braves had...he went through a similar start to the season. He would get shelled in the 1st inning and then cruise the rest of the way. I want to say it was around 1994...but anyway...the #'s point to a turnaround for Zambrano..however after Peavy's 'decline' last season. It has be wondering if maybe Zambrano is going to have a down year.

apparently, Lou found a tweak in the way he pitched so supposedly he's going to be back on track. Let's just hope. :-°

Getting rocked again in the 2nd inning. pathetic....

I'm thinking there could be a chance he's hiding some sort of injury.
