Beltran playing hurt?

May 9 ESPNews reports New York Mets OF Carlos Beltran (quadriceps) will continue to play through the quadriceps soreness he is suffering from.

I hadn't heard anything about the sore quad. This makes some sense given his poor week (.167 ave, .643 OBS). Any other updates out there?
