Can't say I'm surprised, since Teresa obviously didn't want to give up control. I'm also happy, because I see DEI as a bit of a second-rate organization at this point. The rumor mill at this point has churned out possible destinations as RCR (Black Bud #3 maybe?), Hendrick, Gibbs, and starting his own team using Hendrick equipment. I think whatever choice he makes it'll be interesting to watch and I'll be happy to see him with a better chance to win a championship. Hopefully Tony Jr. comes with.

Personally, I'd like to see him in the Black Bud #3. Either with RCR or as his own team using HMS equipment. It's scary to think how good he might be using the same stuff that the #24 and #48 have. And if he starts his own team, maybe he can bring Truex with him.
