Hughes! Status for the rest of this year???

Will Hughes keep a spot in the Yankees rotation when he comes of the DL, now that Clemens has signed with the Yankees and Mussina is back, or will they send him back to the Minor League???

Those will be the 5, not positive about the order yet. But yes, it will probably be:

Clemens
Petitte
Wang
Moose
Hughes

Not sure, though - some jockeying if rotation order will probably happen depending on Rocket's status. Wang had been the #1, but now things have changed.

Pavano needs Tommy John, he is out 12-18 months and is most likely done as a Yankee.

The 5th spot in the meantime will be a rotation of guys like Matt Desalvo and Chase Wright until Clemens is ready and/ or Hughes is healthy. Hughes injury appears to be less serious than originally thought. Igawa will probably come back and make starts now as well after some time in the minors, but when Clemens and Hughes are in the picture he'll probably be pushed to the bullpen.
