does this guy have a right to complain?

Postby jealousblues » Wed May 09, 2007 2:09 am

me and another person in my league agreed on this trade

then someone is complaining about it because he doesnt see how the other guy is getting anything because "willis and burrell are having horrible years"

He doesnt mention that Bay is also and Fuentes is not that great.

now, I think im getting the best but my pov is

he has no pitching and my OF is weak and we are trading to fill holes.

plus he has Dye just sitting on the bench to fill his OF spot, so he really isnt losing all that much.

Plus Bay is streaky, and Pat COULD always hit.
He is walking a lot and his K's are down.

No veto here. Burrell with his flaws and all is still good for about 25HR's anyhow. Escobar will get K's in bunches, and Willis is a decent enough pitcher as well.

You get the biggest name in Jason Bay sure but that doesn't matter much to me.

Every trade in your league must get some sort of flack from this guy, I guess, because there's absolutely nothing wrong here. I might even venture to say I like the Willis/Escobar/Burrell side a little more. Perfectly fine trade.

kick the whiner out of your league if this is a reoccuring thing. I do not like being in leagues with people that complain about trades. Especially one as fair as yours.

If this is a free league, then it is even worse.

I dont even feel that the trade is very lopsided, considering you guys are each trying to fix flaws in your lineups. Absolutely no veto here

This is not a vetoable trade.

The other owner should stop complaining.
