He's quietly becoming a very good young pitcher. He's done very good so far in 7-8 outings and I hardly hear anything about him.

What are your thoughts?

He was traded to the A's I believe for Jonny Gomes

Who's the A's Pitching Coach????? WOW 8-o

Do a search, I think there's a couple of Gaudin threads floating around.

Yeah, he has been solid. I think (I could be wrong) but his biggest problem has been control. Well, looks to be sorted, and he is K'ing guys at a good rate. He has pretty decent stuff, throws hard.

No, he was traded to the A's by the Jays for a PTBNL, which later turned into a mediocre prospect outfielder who likely won't amount to anything in the major leagues. A pointless trade then, and a pointless trade now.

I've got him on a couple of teams. I sure hope this trend continues.

I've had him from the start and I've thought very highly of him; now you see why. Another great outting from Gaudin. :-D

if memory serves me correctly, he has a good slider and an above average fastball, but needs to add another plus pitch. i saw him live a little earlier in the year, and he was good, but his control seemed to fail him at times. it led to a few innings in which he put a couple runners on with the free pass, but he managed to work around it. should be good if he keeps his walks down though.
