Heard today Thome will PH only -- no 1B duty.

frank thomas is coming to philly. he hasn't played in the field since 4-games in 2004.

Haven't heard anything about it, but not sure he would be playing. Not sure where he would go if he was playing the field..
Obviously first base is the only option. I don't know if I see it happening--but the Jays
are getting pretty desperate.
