Need HELP/ADVICE with my H2H team - WHIR

Its my 1st year doing a h2h league and frankly it looks like im struggling. Some of you might think 2-3 is ok and honestly Im still in the running but I havnt felt good about my team all year, sometimes underperforming.

2B - Cano
3B - BJ Upton
SS - Jeter
OF - Markakis
OF - Jaque Jones
OF - Delmon Young
Util - Orlando Cabrera
BN - Stephen Drew
BN - Edwin Encarnicion
BN - Willy Tavaras
DL - Nick Johnson

P - Jake Peavy
P - Bonderman
P - Matt Cain
P - Chris Ray
P - Bobby Jenks
P - Rich Hill
P - Noah Lowry
BN - Chad Billingsly
BN - Scott Sheilds
BN - Jason Hirsh

Offer me some help whether its trades I could look into realistically OR add/drops I could make to help. Thanks in advance and as always WHIR.

try and pick up Ryan Doumit. He'll qualify at catcher soon enough and will hit for more then Molina and can fill in elsewhere as well.

I would check the waiver wire for some better pitching. Try and pick up Fausto Carmona. Also see if Jason Marquis is available, ted lilly, etc. thos guys tend to fly under the radar. You need different guys off your bench as far as pitching goes.

yea Ive noticed that my bench on both sides is weak. Im looking to upgrade something via trade but not kowing exactly what to do. NOTE: all the guys you mentioned are not FAs and rightfully so. It would be steal if some of those guys were not getting points for other managers expecially in the league I am in. Thanks though.

Your OF is pretty awful, but your starting pitching is good.

Your lineup is saturated with guys who are slumping, but just barely aren't droppable, and you have to be having trouble competing with the numbers that they've put up so far.

I'd try to see if I could work out a trade for a stud OF and then see if you can fill your Util spot more adequately.

Are all the usual suspects taken off of FA? Hamilton, Victorino, Butler, Rowand, etc.

How about pitchers like James Shields and Oliver Perez?

Tim Lincecum?

Aside from Molina, your infield is fine, but I'd do the best I could to upgrade

C, OF, and Util

I believe out of the guys you mentioned, Sheilds and Butler arent taken but the rest have.

I am also in the same boat as you. I think Pujols and Cano are underachieving and should produce. You may want to look at adding a little more power.

from ur OF down in hitting is pretty weak and the back end of ur rotation is pretty weak. my advice is to be constantly looking to overturn these areas via free agency, im sure u can find better options out there than billingsley, jacque jones. maybe u could try dealing tavares if theres an owner in ur league who puts a premium on SB
