Im in a h2h league, my 1st actaully after all the years of rotis, and something seems a little fishy with my commissioner. Hes made an abundance of moves, 54 to be exact, with trade after trade after trade, but he continues to be undeafeated with the scores not even being close. Its alarming that he keeps making this many trades, I have never seen anything like it, and the fact he sits pretty at the top. Should I be worried and/or how should I handle it? NOTE: Im not the only manager that thinks this.
This guys seems to be sitting at the computer 24/7 looking at anythign fantasy baseball...good for him but something dosnt seem right. Im new to h2h but been playing fantasy baseball for years.
i dont see anything in your post that would make it fishy.
i have a friend who used to average about 4 moves PER week!
he would just draft all hitters, then swap pitchers pretty much every day.
it was a rotess league though, and there was a cap on innings, so it was not that he could abuse it, but he made a crap load of moves. And then as hitters went cold/hot, he would move them back and forth like mad. He used to end up with like 200 moves over the year while the 2nd guy had like 60ish.
i see no reason to think there is any conspiracy, unless there are some trades like the Curtis for Sizemore traded some idiot posted. Then i would be worried.
It's hard to judge unless you tell us some of the trades going on. Are the trades lopsided? Have the other people who are suspicious made deals with him?
yea Ive never seen this type of thing before so its shocking. Im pretty sure he dosnt have anyone left from his original team he drafted... and how he continues to blow teams away every week with constant trades blows me away. I guess I wish I had enough time during my week to analize every tid bit....... but somehow i doubt thats the case totally. Something isnt right still but thanks for the input.
His trades are below and while they arent anything lopsided it just seems so strange to be trading so much within a small time frame. Also, I believe he has traded with 1 team 3 times and another team 2 times out of the ones below...

oswalt for wagner, in my opinion, is a bit one-sided, but not problematic. aside from that, all of the trades you posted are surprisingly even, especially as trades posted here go. i'll repeat the example of the moron who traded sizemore for granderson.
your complaint seems to be that this guy spends a lot of time on his team, and makes a lot of moves. i can't understand why that would make you so upset, or feel that something suspicious was going on. next year, set a max trade cap, if so many deals bother you.
take solace in the fact that he likely doesn't have a job and lives in his mom's basement.
The rest of the league is simply getting outplayed, man. Simple as that. I see nothing shady at all going on, based on the information you've provided.

I don't mean to be blunt, but the fact is that he is just a much better fantasy baseball player than what you've ever seen before. That's why you are shocked by his behavior.
Do you think you could win a fantasy league against guys like Eric Karabell or Andy Behrens while only making 40 or 50 moves a year?
He's playing on a different level than everyone else.
I just had to ask. It was a combination of ill feeling and thinking he had way too much time for it. Hes obviously doing something right sitting pretty at the top but again I just had to make sure. Just frustrated as well...How does he look for these trades and get so many successful ones. What to look for...
