Yesterday, I watched the indians game, and with two outs and a man on 1st & 2nd, casey blake hit a routine groundball to the shortstop for an easy play at second. However, barfield showed tremendous hustle in beating the throw to second. It turned out to be huge because the next batter hafner then hit a grandslam. This is a case where the boxscore shows the grandslam by hafner, but not the hustle of barfield to keep the inning alive. I was wondering if other people have similar observations of events that don't show up in the boxscore? Please share.

Yep exactly. What about bench clearing brawls? Most exciting play in baseball. They should let the players duke it out hockey style instead of guys throwing gloves at each other. That would be awesome.

Barfield better be running hard, he isn't doing much else at the plate.
The Victorino thing was dumb too. Had he kept running the direction he was running when he ran into Vizquel, he'd have run to third and skipped second base.
Yes doctor, I am sick. Sick of those who are spineless. Sick of those who feel self-entitled. Sick of those who are hypocrites. Yes doctor, an army is forming. Yes doctor, there will be a war. Yes doctor, there will be blood.....
