I'm sure this has been discussed countless times but when do you think he'll be back? Also will he be effective upon his return? I have him DL'd in 1 leauge and he was dropped in another one of my leagues. Is it worth picking him up? Thanx fellas

I think he's worth picking up, especially if you have an open DL spot. I don't have any injury information about him, though.

Last thing I heard was a statement from Pedro about a month ago, talking about how great his rehab is going, and him talking about dominating in the 2nd half. I think after the AS break is the best case scenario. But I'd think he's well worth stashing on your DL.

I have one DL spot. Who should I carry Pedro or Chris Carpenter?

Will Pedro be pitching before Carp?

Thanks. WHIR

Last I heard Carpenter won't be back to the Majors until mid-August, so I would go with Pedro.

Would it matter if it was a keeper league?

Still go with Pedro over Carp? Would Phillip Hughes factor in at all?

According to Rotoworld.com:

Pedro Martinez (shoulder surgery) continues to have a smooth rehab and is on schedule to return to the Mets in August.
"He looks great and feels great and he's working extremely hard," Chris Correnti, Martinez's personal trainer said. Pedro has increased the distance he is throwing from 75 feet to 180 feet in the past month.
