Well, nothing has been updated on his status that I could find. A oblique strain would probably keep him out at least a month though. I think you could possibly expect him to come off the DL in 2-3 weeks. But that's a guess out of the blue, it all depends how quick Iwamura is recovering.
Update: According to Devil Rays manager Joe Maddon, Iwamura (oblique strain) has progressed so quickly in his recovery that he may be able to play in extended spring training games by Wednesday, the Tampa Tribune reports.
Recommendation: Iwamura went on the DL April 24 and was originally expected to miss four to six weeks. However, Iwamura is "throwing well, he's swinging the bat pretty well," Maddon said. "He's really making some rapid advances. He may be able to come back sooner than anticipated."

May 10 Bill Chastain, of TampaBay.DevilRays.MLB.com, reports Tampa Bay Devil Rays 3B Akinori Iwamura (oblique) could be starting in the minors as early as Wednesday, May 16, according to manager Joe Maddon.
May 23 Updating a previous report, Dawn Klemish, of TampaBay.DevilRays.MLB.com, reports Tampa Bay Devil Rays 3B Akinori Iwamura (oblique) could return as early as next week after the club decided he only needed to have a "general feeling of good health or well-being" to return rather than 10 hits, as had been expected.
10 hits is the silliest way to gauge if someone is healthy if you ask me...
im stashing him and with the way bill hall has been playing, im looking forward to plugging him into the lineup.
AKI UPDATE - Third baseman Akinori Iwamura played in an extended spring game Tuesday and will play in another today.
Maddon said Iwamura will head for a rehab assignment shortly, but would not commit to a length of time. Iwamura will return as soon as he feels healthy enough to play.
