What about Hammel or Sonnestine? Letting them pitch in the pen for a bit and than let them get a spot start or start for Seo or Fossum when they suck it up

What about Hammel or Sonnestine? Letting them pitch in the pen for a bit and than let them get a spot start or start for Seo or Fossum when they suck it up

Sonn is in the same shoes as Niemann imo, and needs a handful more starts in AAA. Hammel has basically been plain bad with his pitching.

Corcoran is getting the spot for Salas. Glover is also on waivers so they may need to replace him as well

Hammels has been struggling quite a bit with his offspeed. I do believe he would get hammered in the bigs right now, until he works on his change and his location.
