He should be a sub in case your catcher gets injured (like Mauer, Piazza), but there are better players you could sub in case of injury infront of Doumit

He is someone that should be starting EVERY DAY !!!!!! Why the Heck isn't he playing today Tues. night, is beyond me.I'm pissed !!!!! He's the hottest batter on the Pirates.I don't care if a Lefty is pitching or NOT !!!!! You start Doumit if you are the Coach!!!!!!!
