we get it, nobody will change your mind, not somebody who watched both them pitch, not PECOTA(though I have big questions about PECOTA myself). We get it.
I personally don't want to touch this mess, but I'll take deeray's word for it.

what kind of talent evaluation record does deeray's have
he knows them so well but he was way off on their ages
mcgee was tb's no. 5 prospect in the ba prospect handbook
davis was tb's no. 8 prospect in the ba prospect handbook
ba talks to scouts who know what they are talking about
ba talks to guys who are employed to evaluate talent
what kind of talent evaluation record does deeray's have

and BA has been wrong plenty of times, what does that prove. Prospects are more of a guess game than anything, I don't just trust any professional scout one bit more than an amateur who follows the game closely.

that's a scary way to do business
Show me what you got
Anybody can bash somebody else. Let's see what bold predictions you have about prospects?

Humphrey-- sorry about being off by almost a year on one guy. I didn't think you would scrutinize someones age so much
I have seen both of these guys live and have watched both pitch and have followed them closely. I believe that Wade is the better pitcher and yes i am just one opinion i have said that. What have i proven? I guess you will have to stay around and look at my posts, a lot of people here got a very nice bargain with BJ Upton this year with my inside help on his playing time, also a lot of people got some nice info on Jamie Shields b/c of talking with me. Am i the end all know all, absolutley not. Should people take my word for gold, no, they should take it as advice and do there own research.
I rate them as even in background and intangibles. Davis was ahead in physical tools at the beginning of the season, but McGee has probably caught up with him, and McGee has slight edges in current performance and projection. Overall they are both Grade B+ prospects, and frankly I'm not sure which one I like better. They both seem like studs to me. They both need to throw more strikes and cut their walk rates as they move up. It will be very, very interesting to see which one adjusts more quickly to higher levels. McGee is a bit better overall I'd say.
This is from Jon Sickles (Pretty reputable scout i would think) He likes McGee a little more than Davis, but basically calls them even. So as i said i like Wade more, but others may like McGee, but it is close
