Atlanta, GA (Sports Network) - The Atlanta Braves have re-signed infielder Mark DeRosa to a one-year contract on Wednesday as the two sides avoided arbitration.

i think that derosa could easily step in as an every day player for the braves and be a star at it. a couple years ago he was forced into the starting lineup and he excelled at it by batting over .300. i think that he could play a number of positions anywhere from 3rd,ss, or left field. but my question to u is even though rafeal furcal's arbitration situation isnt closed will u take derosa in ur draft this year.

I won't take Derosa.

Not unless i'm absolutely desperate.

on the other hand..there is a rookie at 1B (Laroache or something) that I would consider on my fantasy squad.
