Figgins 2B eligibility?

According to Sportsline last week,

The Angels placed INF Maicer Izturis on the 15-day DL with a tight right hamstring and recalled 3B/SS Brandon Wood from Triple-A Salt Lake. Chone Figgins, who can also get time in the outfield, and Erick Aybar will likely share the at-bats at second base in Izturis' absence.

I don't usually watch Angels games. Is Figgins playing at 2B at all? If he got that eligibility, it would really plug my team's biggest hole.

figgins already has 2b eligibilty in yahoo leagues.

he will start at 2b sporadically as he played there in about 11 games last year, starting 2b in 7 of those games
