anyone watch that game yesterday and that cheat call on Victorino.
I never really cared much about Victorino, but does anyone think he looks like an a-hole and cocky. He sticks his tongue out all the time and looks like a cocky a-hole with his smile.
So what's your point? Are you not going to pick him up because you don't like his attitude? If he steals 35 bags with a 300 average, I don't care if he punches old ladies, I'd take him on my team.
OK, maybe that was a little excessive...

No, it's not. For all we know, he *may* punch old ladies -- there's a lot of stuff we don't know about all these guys.
He's currently 2nd in the majors in steals. He's in a great offensive lineup, he's going to continue to get balls to hit and opportunities to steal and score runs. And, he's apparently smart enough to take advantage of an error in judgment by the ump and score a run.
Go check the stat book for Ty Cobb's morals, and let me know what you find.
Earlier this season, I saw Prince Fielder do the same exact thing Victorino did last night. Fielder got called out, but Victorino didn't...even as a Phils "fan", I thought it was cheap.
Will always help in return (leave a link to your question in response)
I love how he tried to justify it to the shortstop who he ran into. You could see he was trying to talk himself into believing they made the right call.
Any fan of a team with Barroid on it can't really cry too much about cheating. Just sayin'.

Good point. I probably still would have Victorino even if he does punch old ladies. The point is, punching old ladies is a shameful thing to do. Unless the old ladies being punched really deserved it.

You know---I`m a bit soft on this kind of stuff. Last year I dumped Brett Myers as soon as his domestic altercation came out. Ive passed on getting Bonds on the cheap too many times to remember.
I was embarrased when F Cordero grabbed his crotch , but that didnt compel me to drop him.
I know its just names and numbers on a computer screen---but I dont like having guys I dont respect on my team.
Kind of old-fashioned, huh?
