Hernandez's (elbow) return from the disabled list will be pushed back one more week to May 15, the Seattle Times reports.

I'm getting tired of this. I'm trying to deal him while he still has a little bit of value... this is reminding me too much of Rich Harden & Mark Prior.

Honestly I just think they're being carefull. They've seen what has happened to plenty of other great pitchers (Harden,Prior) when they've been rushed back from injuries. I think Seattle is just taking there time. ;-D

So you're going to hold on to him for a month and deal him a week before he comes off the DL? That doesn't make much sense. If you really don't trust his health, at least wait until he comes back for a few starts. You won't get nearly as much now as you will likely get in a few weeks.

And trust me, as a Cubs fan, this is nothing like Mark Prior. Prior has been frustrating us for years, this guy's been on the DL for a month. It's way to early to compare him to Prior and Harden.

I see your logic, but my point is that he's constantly a week away from coming off the DL. He's been pushed back twice now. I bet he will be again... and again... and again....

Yeah, I know it's frustrating, but you got to wait until he has one good start, then deal him.

hard to buy into the fact that they say hes feeling no pain when this is the second time hes been pushed back
