Should I trade him now or what ? He hasnt been doing anything the whole season :-P

He started slow last year too (although not this slow). Personally, I'm not really fond of him so I traded him in the off-season in my keeper league. He's at about as low of value as he can get right now, so I'd wait until he turns it around, and then trade him (if you can afford the steals).

His value is very low right now so it's probably best to sit tight for a bit.

I don't have specific stats but historically May is one of, if not his best month.

I'm hoping this sets up a trade from Seattle. As a yankees fan I'd hate to see him go to Boston but as a baseball / ichiro fan I think it would be an incredible place for him to put up insane numbers

Most M's fans feel the same as you do & would be pretty upset if he was traded.

I kind of compare it to the ARod situation years ago when he made it known that he wanted to explore free agency & the M's didn't trade him and when he left the didn't get a thing to show for it.

Why not explore a trade to a team like Boston and try to get a Jon Lester type of pitcher or maybe a young position player like Ellsbury?

He will blow up in May like he did last year. He is due for a huge correction so you better wait and enjoy that. He will carry you in average for a month once it happens.

He is still one of the best hitters in the league...period.

I am sure Ichiro is not pleased either. Nobody out there wants Ichiro to do well more than Ichiro.

Watch him turn it around starting tonight against the Jankees.
