He has been hitting really low in the lineup could this potentially be permanent? He has been pretty bad at #3 but 7 is really low :(

I doubt its a permanent thing. He has too much potential/ talent, I think its just the O's way of trying to wake him up.

I think all of his starts at #7 were against lefties. Back to #2 or #3 vs. righties.

So far it doesn't seem to have helped him. :-[

I have to admit my patience with him is wearing thin. If he had a longer track record, I might be more apt to wait it out. Is it too early to start shopping for a replacement?

I think it is an understatement to say he has been one of the most disappointing players early in the season...if you subract the one grand slam he hit....his season has been just awful.

I fell for the hype as well...he may still be a top flight hitter eventually...but look at his splits from last year...one MONSTER month, and just okay the rest. I think you can find better options in a 10 or 12 team league that starts 3 OF.

I am in a deep 12 team keeper league that starts 4 OF and 2 utility spots, so I guess I am stuck with him. I will just have to hope that he works out the kinks and starts hitting again.
