With Armas Jr. and Paul Maholm struggling...Bryan could get the call-up soon. He has a 5-0 record, 0.98 ERA, and 19 SO's in 37.2 innings. He's had some injury problems in the past but he looks to be fully healthy right now.

What do you guys think?
Maybe he turn the 1st round prospect jinx for Pit around?

All us Pirate Fans hope so.....
I think the Bucco's could of drafted Rickie Weeks or Prince Fielder instead of Bullington, if memory serves me correctly.....

How about one Mr. BJ Upton? He was the #2 overall pick right behind Bullington.
If you go a bit further down, Kazmir, Hamels, Fielder, Francoeur, and Cain were all drafted in the first round.

That's the most depressing post I've ever read here.
Anyway, the biggest worry I have is the mediocre K rate at Triple A. Hard to argue with the results, but you wonder if he can come close to replicating without missing more bats. That said, I don't think he could possibly be worse than Maholm (another stellar first rounder).
