May 6 According to the Yahoo! Sports box score, Colorado Rockies OF Willy Taveras (groin) left in the fifth inning of his team's game Sunday, May 6, with tightness in his groin.
I hate to bench him in what looks like a good offensive week for Col. but if he can't run %100 he's not worth much.
I haven't read anything conclusive on his injury but I'm replacing him with Butler this week.

I can't find anything either. Its a 7 game week for Willy too, and I don't want to bench him .. but man. I have 30 minutes to decide.
I finally pulled the trigger and placed him my starting line-up for this week (weekly line-up). As soon as I heard about the groin injury I benched him. A base stealer with hammy or groin issues is not a good start.
If God does not like the way I'm living my life, he can tell me himself.
Groin injury sidelines Taveras By Troy E. Renck Denver Post Staff Writer Article Last Updated: 05/06/2007 11:27:04 PM MDT
Cincinnati - Willy Taveras rounded second base and ran himself right onto the trainer's table.
The Rockies center fielder expects to miss tonight's game and possibly the entire Cardinals series with a tight right groin.
"I think it will only be a few days, three at the most," said Taveras, who never had suffered a right leg problem before Sunday. "A guy like me, I don't have power. My game is running (12 infield hits, nine stolen bases). So to help the team, my legs have to be healthy."
Taveras, thrown out by center fielder Josh Hamilton at third base when hurt, shook his head when asked about the poor timing of the injury. He has finally hit his stride offensively, batting .436 (17-for-39) with 12 runs in his past nine games. The Rockies already are without second baseman Kaz Matsui, who could be out until June with a disc injury in his back.
"It's something you don't expect, and you have to deal with it," Taveras said. "I don't think I will need (an MRI). I will be out there soon."
As a Taveras owner I'm looking forward to Finley playing center for 3 or 4 games. Hopefully the Rockies will realize that creating playing time for Finley may not be the best thing when Taveras is healthy.

Good point. I always liked Finley as a player, but he is done. I fear Colorado doesn't recognize this, even though every other team in baseball did.
