What exactly did you expect from a closer on the NATIONALS?

His command has been off. I watched his BS tonight and it wasn't as bad as the stat line looked. A good 3-4 pitches missed by inches and could have been called strikes. But an SP not gonna get the benefit of the doubt if he's having control problems.

him being on the nationals isnt the biggest problem...without any blown saves he would have 8 right now. im getting tempted to drop him for henry owens, which is just sad

Him blowing his own oppurtunities has nothing to do with what team he`s on. He could have 8 saves right now, which would be just dandy.

he got 47 saves 2 years ago for them. and had a sub 1 WHIP and 1.47 ERA. So we know he's capable even if his team isnt.

I heard it because he hasn't been doing his pre-save ritual correctly.

Got this from Rotoworld:
Chad Cordero was just placed on the bereavement list. He will miss the next three to seven days.

I heard it was because he started bending the bill in his hat. He is lights out with a flat bill....
