What is wrong with Inchiro?

Postby kaiser » Sun May 06, 2007 4:49 pm

He's 3 for his last 26 at bats, with only 3 runs, 1rbi and 1 sb in that time. I'm starting to think he's injured or something.

What's wrong with one of the best (but currently worst) hitters in baseball?

I think you have it, Inchiro has replaced Ichiro in an attempt by the Aliens to take over baseball. Kinda like the Body Snatchers.

Yeah, it's definitely the "n".

I understand. You found paradise in America, had a good trade, made a good living. The
police protected you; and there were courts of law. And you didn't need a friend of me. But
uh, now you come to me and you say -- "Don Corleone give me justice." -- But you don't ask with respect. You don't offer friendship. You don't even think to call me Godfather. Instead,
you come into my house on the day my daughter is to be married, and you ridicule my spelling of Ichiro Suzuki.

Okay okay... I mistyped.

I know it was you StringerBell. You broke my heart.

By the way, Stringer, great name. The Wire is a great show. I rented it through Netflix, and now I'm completely addicted.

Now, does anyone actually have any comment on what the heck is wrong with ICHIRO?

Yeah, one of the best shows ever. Should I be calling you "Mr. Soze"?

More often than not he has a slow start to the season... this season is especially slow though.

He had a slow start last season too (although not quite this slow). I don't especially like 3rd round players that just hit for high avg and steal bases. AVG is the most fluxuating stat - although ichiro is one that you can usually count on to put up big #s there, he did only hit .303 and steal 33 bases in '05. It's looking like he might be in line for a year like '05 again, which would not be good value for him. If he does turn it around and put up good #s for a month, I'd personally sell him off high.
