I'm glad to see he finally signed somewhere.

Those numbers you projected are highly unlikely though

Remember, he's pitching for the Yanks. The lowest ERA he had for the yankees in his five year stint was 3.51. I see him being closer to that.

He will not make anywhere near the numbers that first poster is predicting. He is worth picjing up, but I tag him as a tier-two SP at this point.

I'll admit, I'm not a fan. I don't like his "I'll play when I feel like it" mentality. And the fact that he stands up and makes the announcement in the middle of a freakin' game on the PA just cements my belief that he just loves everyone begging him to come back every season, like he's some kind of baseball savior. If I was a current Yankee player, I would have been looking up from that dugout while he's making that announcment and saying "jeez, thanks for the favor, your highness, but we coul dhave used you from the start of the season..."

I hope he fails.

I wonder if you would have viewed him as a tier 2 SP...if he had signed with the sox???
