I'm in a 5x5 roto league... we have two RP and one P slot and a somewhat loose IP cap.

So, now that Brett Myers is closing for the time being and listed as an RP,SP what is his worth?

Does anyone think he will keep the closing job after Gordon returns? If he does, this now allows whoever has him in my league to have four RP (whereas everyone else maxes at 3).

So, what is his value now?

I'd say he could be a closer on the level of Francisco Cordero, just below the top group of Rodriguez/Nathan/Rivera/Street/Wagner.

The question really is - what is his value, since it allows a team to run 4 RP's in our league (which is almost a guaranteed max points in saves, without really giving up anything).

I think the question should be in this forum: How long is he going to be in the role? What is Gordon's status? That's what I want to know. There have been varying opinions and vague answers....is there any certainty on how long Gordon will be out or at least the minimum he will be out?

either way he should have some sort of value... he could be a decent closer (philly gets lots of saves) but he would probably be best as a sp which i hope they convert him back to...
