Clay Buchholz, This kid is tearing up Double A: 1.61 ERA, 22.1 IP, 12 Hits, 4ER, 4R, 1HR, 3BB, 27SO GB/AO 1.06, .158 OBA.



He has a 93 MPH that can hit 97 MPH at times. he has a plus slider, a plus 12-6 curve ball, and a Plus-plus chang-up.

he's right up there with Kershaw in my opinion ... although i dont think not as high a ceiling as i prefer southpaws, but he's close.

i really like the trio of Erbe, Kershaw and Buchholz myself.

IMHO he is takes a Phillip Hughes like jump up the prospect lists next season. No, i don't think he will be the consesus number one pitcher on most lists, and Hughes is a couple years younger. But he will jump up about 30-35 spots on most lists.
